Indigo Silence (kurloz x reader) part 2

You made it to your cave in the heart of the forest as the first rays of sunlight made its way through the sky.

You dumped his body on the floor of the cave in the back and flopped down across from him.

“So tired!” You groaned to the snake lusus.

Hiss.  She lectured you accidentally kicked the boys head.

“You act like he’s gonna wake up.” You chuckle as she sighed.

Hiss.

“Fine, I’ll sleep.” You headed to your recopacoonon, but looked back at the boy. After much mental debate you listen to that nice small voice that managed to survive two sweeps and put him in instead.
“Who needs a good days sleep?” You ask yourself as you lay curled up on the ground.

Rainbow colors covered everything, including you. In your hands were the top halves of your horns that you had to snap off in order to get control. Indigo tears streamed down your face as you could do nothing but sit there as someone who looked like you killed everyone again and again, a crazed smile on their face.

‘How many times must I tell you?’ She said, moving from the body of your (animal)Lusus and grabbing your chin. ‘I’m you.’

“Please stop!” You beg. “I don’t want too see this!”

It laughed at your misery and stared into your eyes with its insane ones.

‘You think that I care? This is fate!’ It laughed louder. ‘Oh look there.’

You looked where it turned your head and gasped when you saw the mangled body of the boy you had just met.

‘Doesn’t he look nice like that?’

Tears flooded your eyes.

‘Covered in his own color?’

You let out a blood chilling scream.

Your eyes snapped open to meet the concerned eyes of the boy and the snake lusus. You and the boy locked eyes for five seconds before you punched him in the nose.

He fell back with a strangled cry and the snake sighed as you rubbed that horrid night horror out of you mind.

The boy held his bloody nose with one hand and signed something to you. You looked to the snake to figure out what he was saying.

Hiss.
“Because you were in my face. I didn’t hit you hard- enough,” You muttered that part. “-To do any real damage so the bleeding should stop in a little bit.”

You watched as he stopped and cleaned the blood off his face, not offering any help. Instead you looked him over. Lots of hair and long horns and clothes that make him look like a skeleton, not to mention a sewn shut mouth.

After you finished that, you went to get food to cook for you, the snake- well you could call her yours, she’s been with you since you got there-, and your guest. After everything was finished cooking and blood stopped flowing you passed out food.

When he finished he signed something else to you.

Hiss.

“This in my happy place, now get your stuff and get the glub out.” You say.

Queue hit in the back of the head by your snake lusus.

“Ow.”

Hissss! Hiss hisss hissssssss.

“Fine, you are in my cave in the heart of the forest. I brought you after my fat ass knocked you out.”
He signed something.
Hisss. Hiss.
“I know I’m not fat, I was joking, but thanks… I guess.” You shrugged, light indigo blush covering your face.

He signed something and you looked to your snake lusus.

Hisssss.
“(f/n).” You said. “Yours is Kurloz, your matesprit yelled it.”
He signed something again.
Hisss.
“Oh, whoops.” You said, realizing that she was just a friend. “My bad.”

All three of you sat in awkward silence, that is until you got up and clapped your hands together.

“Alright, your friend is problably looking for you and blaming your disappearance on me.” You say.
Sign.
Hisss.
“Shush you. I would have left him there if you hadn’t made me take him with!”
Hiss.
“Not if she had found him first.”
Hisss.
“Then he would just be eaten.”
Hiss.
“…” The moment you realize he’s sitting right there listening to you.

You looked at him. He seemed pretty calm about hearing you tell your lusus you wanted to leave him for dead.

You sighed and walked toward the entrance of the cave. “Come on, I have to take you back before She comes back with others who have weapons.”

Kurloz stood and followed you, the walk was a mostly silent one. As you both got to the tree line you could see the girl from yesterday-but you knew she was there, you could hear her from five miles away- and she had brought friends. They were about to enter.

“Okay, just go out there, show them you’re alright, say a branch fell on you and knocked you out, anything except saying you were helped by me.” You muttered.

He signed something.
Hisss. Hisss hiss.
I’d rather no one know I live here. Now shoo, go back to your friends.” You waved him off. “Oh wait!”

He turned back, a puzzled expression on his face.

“Tell your harpie friend to tone it down. I don’t want to hear her from five miles away.”

He shook his head and walked out while you climbed a tree, snake-lusus following behind you.


“Kurloz!” The girl yelled as she ran to hug him when he came out the trees. “I thought the cursed one had gotten you!’

You gave a quite bark of laugher. “Always my fault huh?”

Your snake-lusus nuzzled your face as you watched them walk away. You watched Kurloz, who turned his head slightly too where you were and seemed to give you a slight smile before turning around and walking away with his harpie, you had nothing against her, she was loud.

You shook your head ad sighed. “I’ll never figure out how he knew where I was.” You climbed down from the tree and made your way back. “Why do I get this horrible feeling that we’re to meet again?”
Hiss.
“Well that sucks.” You muttered, but your heart skipped a beat at the thought of seeing him again.
